BAHASA LINGKUNGAN KE-KAGHATI-AN GUYUB TUTUR BAHASA MUNA (PERSPEKTIF EKOLINGUISTIK)

Abstract

This article described about the ecologycal language of kaghati in ecolinguistic perspective. Kaghati is one of the traditional games in speech community of Muna language.The entire of kaghati raw material is obtained from nature, such as the lexicon: roo kolope (yam tuber leaves), ghurame (pineapple fiber rope), patu (bamboo), bhale (palm leaves), etc. The issues raised in this study is about lexicalize, gramaticalize, textualize, and culturalize which is encoded through ecologycal language of kaghati. The result of analysis showed that the verbal encoding (lexicalize) found some lexicons are classified by its word class, for example noun: roo ’leaf’; kolope ‘tuber’; nanasi ‘pinneaple’; kasoma ‘pin’. Verb class: ene ‘pick up’; lobhi ‘cut’; hela ‘pull’; bogha ‘cut’; bhegha ‘cut in small pieces’. Adjective class: todo ‘tight’; nifi ‘thin’; lubha ‘slack’; gili ‘taut’. In the context of the dynamics of development of creativity a metaphor, idiom, and the linguistic construction, such as:  O kaghati mbali bhoru we ahera ‘the kite as the umbrella in eternity’; gholu mpore ‘a firm knot’; ule mpalo ‘turning without stoppingi’. A Kaghati ritual text, especially ritual process of lowering kaghati is also disclosed in this paper. The gramaticalize, such as lexicon: roo kolope, ghurame, kaindere, and kalolonda have a meaning of cultural symbols that is closely related to humans and the surrounding environment, as an example: kaindere ‘the middle frame kite’ has a function as a source of strength or backbone of kaghati itself.  Kaindere considered as the spine in humans that became the backbone of all elements of kaghati.
