Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui syarat-syarat menjadi nenek Kabolosi di Desa Baruta Kecamatan Sangia Wambulu Kabupaten Buton Tengah peran nenek kabolosi dalam menjaga makam Buton Tengah i. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Ritus oleh Van Gennep. Metode Desa Baruta Kecamatan Sangia Wambulu Kabupaten Buton Tengah dan mengetahui pandanga masyarakat tethadap peran Nenek Kabolos Desa Baruta Kecamatan Sangia Wambulu Kabupaten penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode etografi berupa deskripsi mendalam dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pengamatan (Observation) dan wawancara mendalam (Indepth Interview). Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa terdapat syarat-syarat untuk menjadi nenek Kabolosi yaitu berasal dari garis keturunan kabolosi sebelumnya, perempuan, telah berstatus janda, mengalami menopouse dan berahlak yang baik. Peran nenek kabolosi dalam menjaga makam adalah wajib tinggal di lambu balano ( rumah besar) dan menjadi perantara meyampaikan doa. Sedangkan pandangan masyarakat terhadap peran nenek Kabolosi yang sesuai dengan peran yang diemban adalah sebuah kewajiban dan menjadi orag yang snagat dihargai dalam masyarakat.

- Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by KABANTI or its sublicensee.
- Miscellaneous
KABANTI will publish the article (or have it published) in the Journal, if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and KABANTI or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. KABANTI may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.
