Klausa dalam Lagu Papillon Karya Lara Fabian

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of French clauses in the lyrics of the album Papillon by Lara Fabian, which are most dominantly used by the author in this study and are qualitative descriptive studies. The object of this study is a collection of songs from the album Papillon by Lara Fabian. In the album, there are 11 song titles. However, the author limits this study to only taking nine song titles to be discussed. This study only focuses on the types of clauses found in the album Papillon by Lara Fabian. Data were analyzed using the techniques of describing, interpreting, and making conclusions. The results of the study show that there are 6 types of clauses in Lara Fabian's papilon album, namely (1) independent clauses (La Proposition Independent), (2) core clauses (La propopsition principale), (3) relative bound clauses (la proposition subordonnée relative), (4) conjunctive complete bound clauses, conjunctive complete clauses (la proposition subordonnée conjontive), (5) interrogative complete bound clauses (la proposition subordonnée completive interrogative) and (6) adverbial bound clauses (la proposition subordonnée circonstancielle). The most dominant type of clause is the he independent clause.
