Article Processing Charge (APC)

Cakrawala Listra operates as an open access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to a global audience without subscription fees or access barriers. To sustain this open access model and cover the costs associated with the publication process, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

APC Details

  • Amount: The APC for publishing an article in Cakrawala Listra is IDR 150,000. This fee is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following the peer review process.

  • What the APC Covers: The APC supports various aspects of the publication process, including:

    • Peer review management and editorial services.

    • Copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading.

    • Online hosting and maintenance of the journal’s website.

    • Archiving and indexing to ensure long-term accessibility.

    • Promotion of published articles to maximize visibility.

  • Payment Timing: Authors will receive an invoice for the APC after their manuscript is accepted. Payment must be completed before the article is published online.

Transparency and Fairness

  • No Submission Fees: Cakrawala Listra does not charge any fees for manuscript submission or peer review. The APC is only applicable to accepted manuscripts.

  • Editorial Independence: The decision to accept or reject a manuscript is based solely on its academic merit and alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, as outlined in the Peer Review Process. APC status or waiver requests do not influence editorial decisions.

  • Funding Support: Authors are encouraged to seek funding from their institutions, research grants, or other sources to cover the APC. Many funding agencies and institutions provide support for open access publication fees.
